Eat Beaver began with a simple observation: Canada had reached the point where perfectly normal people were standing in grocery-store aisles examining labels to determine whether ketchup was sufficiently Canadian.
Why Should Buy Canadian End at the Supermarket?
We respected the commitment, but it raised an obvious question. Canadian consumers are encouraged to support domestic farmers, manufacturers, retailers, restaurants, technology companies and independent businesses. Canada also has a substantial adult industry, yet nobody appeared to have included it in the national procurement strategy.
Eat Beaver exists to correct the oversight. We cover Canadian adult technology, media, retail, manufacturing, creator platforms and related businesses, and we do it with the kind of earnest economic language normally reserved for dairy quotas and international trade disputes.
What We Do
Eat Beaver promotes a simple idea: Eat Local. Support Canadian. We profile relevant Canadian adult businesses, link readers to the companies themselves and publish material about Canada’s connection to the adult economy. The result is part industry guide, part economic policy and significantly more entertaining than another government procurement manual.
What We Do Not Do
Eat Beaver is not currently an escort directory or booking service, and no sexual services are offered, sold or arranged through this website. We are not affiliated with Buy Beaver, any government agency, political organization, trade association or organization responsible for actual beavers.
Where This Can Go
Eat Beaver may eventually add a limited, carefully curated section featuring established mature Canadian adult entertainers, along with a separate dating-oriented section for adults interested in mutually beneficial relationships. Those sections will not be open classifieds. If they are introduced, they will be deliberately selective and manually reviewed.
Our Economic Policy
After extensive consideration of international trade, monetary policy, productivity, domestic sourcing and Canadian competitiveness, we have developed a comprehensive four-word national strategy. It is considerably shorter than most government reports and probably no less effective.
